Bistech’s most Senior TM1 Consultants, Luke Imms attended this year’s IBM Vision 2017 conference taking place over in Orlando, Florida from May 16th to 19th. This event is the premier conference for TM1 professionals and provides an opportunity to gain an understanding of IBM’s strategy for TM1 (Planning Analytics) and complementary FPM tools such as Cognos Controller, Cognos Disclosure Management, Watson Analytics and more.
We will also provide an update and demo of the current Release 6 of Cognos Analytics which continues to add enhancements to its key functional areas. In this release the focus has been on making it faster and easier to create dashboards and also provide more enhancements to the storytelling capabilities. It also provides significantly enhanced mapping capabilities by increasing the resolution of the postal code/area code level and expanding support for up to five levels of administrative boundaries.

Cognos Analytics R6 (11.0.6) is here. IBM has unleashed the latest release of Cognos Analytics 11. With IBM releasing new features and functions on approximately every 2-3 months we will provide an update and demonstration of the latest capabilities of this rapidly maturing release.
