Ryan joined Bistech from Cognos Australia where he worked on a number of major projects including the prestigious deployment of Cognos at the Commonwealth Bank. Ryan has been deploying Cognos BI solutions for over 10 years both here in Australia and in his country of birth, South Africa. Ryan obtained his Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Information Systems) from the University of the Witwatersrand in 1997 and has since attained an enviable list of Cognos certifications across the full Cognos BI suite of tools.

Ryan is currently recognised as a fully certified Cognos BI expert under the Cognos BI Solutions Professional program achieved during his Cognos tenure. A gifted trainer, Ryan is also a much sought after Cognos Trainer who also delivers Cognos Education services for IBM Cognos Australia.

Ryan has many years of senior consulting experience, covering a diversity of industries including banking & finance, local government, manufacturing, mining, retail, utilities and property development.
