A excellent opportunity exists for the right person to join our current team as a Cognos EP Consultant based in Queensland ( some travel req'd).
Our continued success and growth has lead to the requirement of additional skills and technical expertise in the areas of Enterprise Planning (Budgeting, Forecasting and Consolidation).

Your role will encompass specialist services to our clients which includes:
• Business Analysis, Solution Design and Product Implementation
• Identifying project requirements and developing project plans
• Product pre-sales support
• Knowledge transfer

You will be required to interact with people at many levels within an organisation, from CEO/CFO down. Additionally, you will have the option of being involved in the delivery of product training and the develop ment of related training materials.

We are looking for an individual who possesses a mixture of the following skills:

Essential Skills Include:
• Excellent understanding of bus. systems & general bus. acumen
• Analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Customer focused, Pro-active, Team player
• Excellent oral and written communication

Highly Desirable Skills Include:
• Cognos EP/Adaytum experience or similar (TM1, Hyperion, SAS etc…)
• Financial and Management Accountant experience (CPA/CA or similar)
• Strong understanding of Accounting, Budgeting, Forecasting and Consolidation concepts
• Business Analysis and technical skills across the budgeting implementation lifecycle
• Relational Database knowledge (SQL Server, Oracle, DB2 …)

To be successful you will possess degree qualifications or equivalent in Accounting and/or Business.

Ideally you will have a minimum of 12 months experience with Cognos Enterprise Planning but we will also accept candidates with a Business Intelligence background if you have an accounting qualification or strong hands-on background in budgeting and consolidation .
