An excellent opportunity exists for a BI consultant to join the current Cognos ‘BI Partner of the Year' for Australia based in Brisbane.
Our continued success and growth has led to an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled consultant to join our team.
We are looking for an individual who possesses a mixture of the following skills:
Essential Skills Include:
• Excellent understanding of bus. systems & general bus. acumen
• Analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Customer focused, Pro-active, Team player
• Excellent oral and written communication
Highly Desirable Skills Include:
• Cognos experience (Cognos 8, ReportNet, PowerPlay, Impromptu, Metrics Mgr…)
• Relational Database knowledge (SQL Server, DB2, Oracle …)
• Knowledge of Data Warehouse best practices and ETL skills
• Web based technologies will also be viewed favourably (XML, Java …)
Candidates with hands on skills developed across similar tools like Business Objects, Crystal, Hyperion, Analysis Services, TM1 will also be considered.
To be successful you will possess degree qualifications or equivalent in I.T, Business or Accounting.
This is a hands-on role working closely with both large and medium sized organisations to implement their BI solutions.
